Interview with Ágnes Szabó-Diószeghy in the Budapester Zeitung

In October the Budapester Zeitung (Budapest Times) has invited Humtour founder, Ágnes Szabó-Diószeghy for an interview. She was happy to share the Humtour project, and talk about her heart based eco-social enterprise. According to Ágnes the idea for founding Humtour (Humanitarian Tourism) came through her own travel experiences while she was backpacking: “We lived with a family, helped with work at the farm, and enjoyed local specialties.” She also states: “The ideal partners of ours are farmers who are able to offer workshops for the processing of agricultural products. This can lead to a win-win situation. While tourists may enjoy tasting locally made products, the farmer can sell more of these.”
