Wine and Cheese tasting, Chocolate Making Workshop in Etyek
Enjoy a day filled with culinary pleasures: sampling the best wines of Hungary with homemade craft cheese, tasting and even making chocolate close to Budapest, in Etyek, one of the most famous wine regions of Hungary. The nice little village of Etyek is located 26 km from Budapest with a line of traditional and beautifully renovated wine cellars. The wineries all present their own products, and additionally to the great wine, there are a lot of other interesting and delicious treats this place offers.
For instance, if you take part in the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to try out the following gastronomic experiences:
Cheese tasting in a cellar, where guests can taste homemade craft cheese.
Tasting selected wines of the region, dinner in the winery, where our guests will
enjoy: Six individual wines (including 4 white wines, 1 rose and 1 red wine). In addition a specially prepared antipasti platter awaits our guests as well, with fresh bread and a traditional Hungarian lunch with homemade main dish accompanied by mineral water.
Visiting a chocolate factory, chocolate tasting and chocolate making workshop.
The tasting includes 10 different chocolates and one tasting. For example you can try out: dark chocolate with rosemary (53%), milk chocolate with strawberry and amaranth (39%), dark chocolate with orange (53%), bio chocolate from Peru (65%), white chocolate with elderflower and lemon, chocolate lollipops, gingerbread square—a bonbon with cinnamon, ginger, clove and honey,—cherry-chili square bonbon, cherry-raspberry bonbon and more…
17:00 Transfer to Budapest after the chocolate tasting.
We will conduct the gastronomic tour on a winery with a grape growing area of couple of hectares at Etyek Old-Hill.
The wine and cheese tasting will take place in a pleasant atmosphere of the wine tasting room. In this place we will have lunch.
